ABOUT ME
I am a chemical engineer focused on environmental reaction engineering and data-based modelling of wastewater treatment systems. My research explores biochemical kinetics, granular sludge, and membrane-based nitrogen recovery, combining chemical engineering with applied mathematics. I have taught environmental and bioprocess engineering courses in Chile and Spain, and I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at Ghent University (BioCo Research Group, Belgium), working on sustainable process design through mass balances and data analysis.
